Welcome to FG Sensors
FG Sensors designs and manufactures fluxgate magnetometer sensors, gradiometer kits, and data logging systems for measuring weak magnetic fields with high precision.
Our products are used in geophysical surveys, metal detection, archaeology, scientific research, and space weather monitoring — anywhere accurate magnetic field measurement matters.
What Is a Fluxgate Magnetometer?
A fluxgate magnetometer is a solid-state magnetic field sensor capable of measuring static and low-frequency fields in the nanotesla (nT) to microtesla (µT) range — sensitive enough to detect the Earth's magnetic field and small anomalies within it.
Unlike coil-based sensors, fluxgate sensors have no moving parts, operate down to DC (0 Hz), and are well-suited for both portable field instruments and long-term fixed installations.
